About JIM BOYD
Jim Boyd is one of Scotland's longest serving angling journalist/photographer who during the past 30 years has at various times been the angling correspondent to the Kirkintilloch Herald, Stirling Observer, Scotland on Sunday, the Daily Star, The Wee County News, the Sunday Scot and the Scottish Daily Express.
He has also written articles and produced images for Trout & Salmon, Trout Fisherman, Stillwater Trout Angler and for a number of years produced the highly acclaimed 'Angling Special' for the Sunday Post Magazine. He has been the angling correspondent to the Sunday Post for coming up for twenty five years and currently writes copy and produces images for the rainbow and wild trout fishing sections of the VisitScotland Fish in Scotland brochure that has a worldwide distribution.
He currently acts as a public relations/media consultant to a number of prominent Scottish trout fisheries and was until fairly recently Secretary to the Association of Scottish Stillwater Fisheries of which he was a founder member.
