Tweed

A Tweed river boat, nice and comfy!

Tweed is the second longest river in Scotland flowing through the Borders from its source near Moffat to Berwick on Tweed. Most of the Tweed is in Scotland although a 19 mile stretch constitutes the Border with England.

The river has superb salmon fishing as well as some of the best trout fishing anywhere.

While the trout fishing is accessible and very reasonably priced the salmon fishing can be very expensive, especially in October and November, although the returns for late season fishing are impressive with beats taking fish nearly every day.

Go to Fishpal

Most of the river is linked to fishpal so it was decided that we would leave it out.
