Some Spectacular Pike off Menteith this Year

There has been some fantastic pike caught at the Lake in recent weeks. Stuart Sutherland of Fish X was out with a client who caught this 24lb monster.

We also had The Pike Fly Fishing Association out on Saturday and they caught several large fish despite the lack of wind and bright conditions. The biggest fish of the day was 19lb with an 18lb fish also caught. The club caught 7 double figure fish and 14 jacks between 7 boats which is very good going considering the weather conditions were against them.
