Moel Y Gart Polls is a members only fishery with facilities for disabled anglers, holding roach, perch, carp, bream and tench.

River Severn, at Lower leighton, 0.75ms from the road bridge to Henfaes brook.

River Vrynwy, 0.5m double bank on Great Dryffrd farm, barbel, chub, perch, pike, grayling, dace and trout.

River Banwy at Llanfair Caereinon, trout grayling, chub, 1.5m double bank from the town bridge down stream.

River Camlad, 0.5 m from Forden upstream form the bridge to the sign post and down stream to Gaer road bridge.

Montgomery Canal, from bridge 119a (Maes y Dre foorbridge) to bridge 115 ay Heulwen Wharf. Pike , tench, carp, rudd, bream.

Membership is very reasonable with discounts for over 65s, 12 to 16yo and under 12. Day and week tickets from the Tourist Information Centre and Grants Newsagent in Welshpool.
