The Canals Trust have over 2,000 miles of waterway to look after for the many interest groups who use them. With so much water it is no wonder that fishing is high on the list of activities.
The Trust issues a Waterway Wanderers Permit that entitles you to fish on an impressive amount of water throughout England and Wales (for just £20).
Near Penryn. A 65 acre reservoir with quality carp to over 40lbs plus perch, pike to mid twenties , bream to mid teens, tench, rudd and roach. 24 swims.
Open 24 hours all year. There is a cafe and toilets including disabled facilities and wheel chair accessible platforms next to the car park. It is also a dog freindly fishery.

Run by the Bude Canal Association offers fishing for roach, rudd, dace, perch, tench, carp and bream on thier 1.5 mile stretch. There even occasional brown trout.
The Association also has a lake at Whalesborough with carp, bream, tench and roach.
There is vehicle access to the canal with parking and the Association has installed a number of purpose built platforms for disabled anglers.
Day Tickets for the canal from the Post Office in Bude and for the lake from the Weir Cafe which is located on the lakeside.
There is local membership and associate membership for folk living outwith an 18 mile radius of Bude.

Kernow Coarse Fishery
Located near Hayle, Kernow has 2 lakes the largest having 7 species of carp and silvers. The carp include common, mirror, ghost, leather, grass and kio carp most to doubles but some to 20+. There are also crucians. The smaller lake has been redeveloped to make it more acessible and family friendly providing for wheechair access and other facilities.

Located in Par, on a caravan park, the fishery lake has 27 pegs all with solid platforms. 1 to 5 are next to the car park and one platform is for wheelchair users.
The lake is stocked with tench, perch, mirror and common carp, rudd, roach, bream and crucians and the occasional brown trout crops up.
Day tickets and season tickets available from the main office or you can get a day ticket at a machine Sweets Grill.

Innes Fly Fishing
Located near St Austil close to the Eden Project Innes Fishery has 3 lakes:
Innes Lake is a ctach and kill lake with brown trout and rainbows. There are specimen rainbows to double figure. Reconed to be good stalking water. Minimum 8lb leader.
Carbis is also a catch and kill lake with stock fish starting at 2lbs.
Sterrick is a C & R fishery. Fishing is bank and boat (boats on Carbis and Sterick only).
Tickets option include varouius day tickets, half season and full season. Call 01726 852382 They recon that there is good access for anglers with disabilities.

Up on Bodmin Moor a 140 acre lake with rainbow trout stocked at 1 to 2 lbs with many fish in the 3 to 6lb range. They also stock some doubles. There are also some blues and a good population of wild brownies (C & R for brownies). Average bag 3.43 fish.
Boat and bank tickets available from the Activity Centre, 3 boats, book in advance call 01579 346522. There is also a wheelieboat please give 48 hours notice for the booking. Petrol engines are available for hire.
There is also a C & R ticket option.
The Acitivity Centre has a cafe with toilets and shower facilities available.

Mallard a fly only lake of 2.4 acres stocked with rainbows and brown trout from 1.5lbs up to doubles.
Teal Lake is 3.5 acres any legal method. Stocked with rainbows 1 to 4lbs with some wild brownies.
The fishery can accomodate disabled anglers but please call in advance so they they can make arrangements for you.
There is s fishing hut where you can get a cuppa or top up on some tackle needs. There are also flush toilets.
