Come on Dublin surely you can do something for to make angling accessible to disabled anglers in the capital. Do something in Memrial Park, it looks perfect for a wee development.

Stillwaters / Loughs

Corkagh Park Fishery

Located right on the outskirts of Dublin this very attractive park has 2 lakes one for fly fishing for trout the other for coarse fishing.

The trout lake is supplied with water from the Cramac river. Stock with fish in the the 3 to 4lb range it is a big water fishery with some fish to 10lb plus added to the mix. Excellent fly life good top of the water fishing.

The coarse lake is well stocked too with carp averaging 5lbs with some to mid teens. There are also some very good perch, good sized roach plus rudd and tench.

There is a cafe in the park, toilets. parking near the lake. The fishery also has wheelchair accessible fishing stands

Darndale (Belcamp) Park

Built in 1999 these ponds suffered clogging by invasive water weeds. After much hard work the weeds have been dealt with and the waters cleared again for fishing. There are two ponds in the park now stocked with carp to 10lb, rudd, bream, tench and hybrids.

There is a good made path arond the bigger pond that I believe would give good access for wheelchair users. Call 01 8771500.
