Rivers
Garvoge River
The Garvoge river is the lower part of the river Bonet flowing from Lough Gill to the sea at Sligo town.
The river is very much managed by 2 large weirs in Sligo creating big slow water up to the lough, it is alos very much an urban water.
Google Street View Garvoge River, Hyde Bridge next to Barton Smith Tackle
The river has good runs of spring fish from the start of the seas, grilse in the summer and a back end run as you might expect from reading about L Gill and the river Bonet. There is some good sea trout fishing around Victoria Bridge.
From the picture you can see that there are good walkways here which extend for some way upstream. There are several more stretches and while it is not mentioned they might be very suitable for disabled anglers to access the river, worth asking around
