Neath and Dulais Angling Club

Neath and Dulais AC have a considerable amount of water on the rivers Neath and Dulais.

The Neath fishing extends from the Breacon Beacons down to Aberdulais where it is joined by the Dulais then down to the sea. The river is stocked with brown trout and has good runs of sea trout and some salmon.

The Dulais fishing is largely brown trout as the falls at Aberdulais represent a barrier to migratory fish. A fish pass has been installed.

There is a club car park off the A 465 at the second roundabout after Resolven. Here they have installed a concrete ramp and path to a pool giving acces to fishing for wheelchair users. There were plans for a RADAR tolet but it is not clear if completed. Google Map 51.692632, -3.738234 (best estimate please check locally)

Located in the Afan Forest Park the fishery is part of an activity park with walking, cycling, camping and wildlife set up by the local community who wisely installed a series of lakes.

The fishery consists of 5 lakes, 3 trout and 2 coarse fisheries.

The trout lakes are stocked with rainbows and brown trout (fishery record is a 25lb bow). They do a 3, 4 or 6 fish, father and child, evening tickets plus a 22 fish guaranteed catch ticket and they accept club day bookings.

The 2 coarse lakes consist of a 3 acre lake up to 20 ft deep stocked with bream, tench and roach and a smaller carp lake with common, mirror and ghost carp to 38lbs. Senior and junior tickets available.

The park is open 7 days a week 8am to 5pm in the summer, 9am to 4pm in the winter. Call 01639 851900. There is a cafe in the park centre with toilets and facilities for disabled. They do not say specifically that the fishery is accessible however it is clear that there are made paths around some lakes and platforms that may be suitable for use by disabled anglers, I'd give em a call, looks like a nice spot for a day out fishing.
