Loch Beannie


It is a good hike up to this loch after arriving at Inveredrie Farm, Glenshee where you can get your permit. Nice trout, free rising on their day, plump fish.

A boat is available but the banks are clear and wading is good.

Loriston Loch


Located adjacent to to A 956 near Cove is run by Aberdeen District Angling Association. Stocked with rainbows and blues day tickets are available through the ADAA web site shop. The loch also has good stocks of roach for the coarse angler

Loch nan Eun


Not for the faint hearted a beautiful loch with wild brown trout but a six mile hike along the river Shee and up Glen Thaitneich. There is a track part of the way.

Glen Tanar


Glen Tannar Loch fishery near Aboyne is a secluded tree lined loch for fly fishing only.

Stocked with rainbows the fishing is from boats with 2 rods per boat.

Brownies are C & R.

Sessions are 9 -5 and 5 -10.

Parkhill Loch


This loch is listed on the Aberdeen and District AA web site. It is a members only facility which is a pity because it is a very bonnie we loch. However with so much fishing available to members (Don, Dee, Ythan) it is well woth joining the club.
