Loch Afton and Loch Creoch

The New Cumnock Angling Association Association has fishing on the Upper Nith (there are salmon and sea trout but the Association will not allow angling specifically for them until stocks improve) for good quality brown trout, stocked regularly, and quality grayling.

They also have fishing on two lochs; Afton, a 100 acre reservoir bank fishing only and Loch Creoch which is on the A76 for which day tickets are issued.

Permits from: McKechnies Garage and Ian Neil Barbers in New Cumnock and Donsport in Cumnock. Contact the sectretary on 07875 879838.

A season ticket is just a few quid more than a day ticket for Creoch so it makes sense to buy one and get access to all of the fishing available.
